Sculptra vs. Hyaluronic Acid Filler: The Long Game for Your Smile Lines

At 4 and 12 weeks, the two were basically tied. Roughly 90% of patients in both groups had good correction of their folds early on. So for the first three months, you'd be hard-pressed to tell them apart.
After that, the paths split. Sculptra pulled ahead at 6 months and kept its lead.
At the 2.3-year mark, Sculptra results roughly doubled HA's. About 56% of Sculptra patients still had good correction versus 25% of HA patients, a meaningful, durable difference.
Both were safe, with no serious late problems in either group.

Now stretch it over 2–3 years - the honest comparison:
With HA, maintaining smooth folds usually means re-treating every year. Over ~2.5 years that can mean 3 rounds of filler, and the costs add up.
